2018 February 20, TuesdayThe BS of Armenia has always stood and will stand by the Armenian soldier, in military units, trenches, wherever he is present. On February 20, 2018, the Projects Director of the BS of Armenia, together with Fr. Samvel Sargsyan, the military chaplain, visited the new rehabilitation centre in N 1 hospital in the capital Yerevan. The centre received Bible and 5 different Scripture literature from the BS of Armenia. The Projects Director met soldiers with various injuries. Each soldier received a copy of the Gospel of Luke.
Artak, a young soldier, was treated by Eleanora, a doctor from Choratan (Tavoush Region) where she participated in the “Moving Gospel” project several years ago. During the conversation the Projects Director said: “When I entered here and have seen how this lady is treating you, suddenly an unforgettable moment came to my mind. Several years ago, I was in Lima to participate in UBS round-table, a lady from German Bible society, Ingrid Felber-Biscchof, began her presentation by these words, 'Touching is healing'. Since then, this phrase has become a moto for my during all my projects. And now I can tell you that there are three conditions for healing, first, the touch of the doctor, communication and smile.” Artak’s answer was immediate: “The most imortant thing is faith”.
