2011 March 01, TuesdayDuring the last years, we were able to visit 4 villages per year. Each year the visits include different, isolated villages to reach more people with the message of the Scriptures. Parish pastors are also involved in the project, paying weekly visits with two phases. Beginning from this year we planned to target 8 villages with 2 phases. From March to June, 2011 Together with parish priests Fr. Sarkis Terterian and Fr Aram Mirzoyan the Bs was able to be in four border villages: Movses and Lower Karmraghbyur, Norashen, Choratan in Tavush Region; Yervandashat, Bagaran and Vanand in Armavir Region. Three hundred and fourty copies of Selections (“The Parables, miracles and Teachings of Christ”), 600 copies of Selections (“God Speaks to His Children”), 260 colouring books, 355 copies of Calendars 2011 were distribuded.
We met approximately 1500 people (parents, teachers, youth, children, local authorities).
Based upon their witness it was obvioues some impacts; the engagement in the community life, spiritual and psychological uplift and increased sense of community through personal contacts, the wish to continue this project during the whole year.
Most of the villagers have invitated both the priests and the BS representatives to their homes to pray together and to bless their homes and the lands.
