2018 December 20, ThursdayIn November 13, 2018 The Bible Society of Armenia together with the Christian Education Center of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin has launched a series of seminars at the BS Bookshop for the teachers, who teach ''The History of the Armenian Church'' . The participants were from 38 public schools of Yerevan, and two historians, divided to two groups. The final two sessions were in December 6, 2018.
The BS Armenia organized the closing official ceremony in the city of Etchmiadzin at the monastery of St. Hripsime (7th century), where all the participant teachers attended the Divine Liturgy. After the Liturgy, the teachers together with the lecturers were hosted by the BS Armenia for a lunch, which was a real Agape. Before the meal HE Abp Yeznik Petrosian, the GS of the BS Armenia, greeted all the guests and conveyed his appreciation for this participation. He extended special thanks to Ms Anna Stepanian, and HG Bp Vardan Navassardian, the Head of Christian Education Center and to the lecturers for their support and contribution for this project. Later, Rev. Fr Zakaria Baghumian, the newly appointed Head of Christian Education Center, greeted the participants and thanked everybody specially the BS Armenia for organizing this important seminar. He promissed to continue the fruitful cooperation with the BS in the framework of distribution of Bibles and of such trainings.
At the end special Certificates were been delivered to the participants teachers.
