The BS of Armenia feels special attention must be paid to this unchurched segment of youth at a critical point in their lives.

To reach the soldiers with Scriptural knowledge in 2010-2011, the BS has started the distribution of 10.000 copies of New Testament and Psalms with camouflage cover within some major army bases. The project was sponsored via personal donation.

During the same period of time Education program on Bible has been started at the Ministry of Defence for all the Departments of the Ministry. The year 2011 was the second cycle of this education program. This phase was started in February, with weekly regular meetings. Till May, 2011 The BS Project Director together with the Pioneer’s Houses Director, Very Rev. Fr Komitas Ohanian took part in all the 16 seminars organised by the Ministry of Defense and the Army Chaplain HG Bp Vertanes Abrahamian at the Main MD Headquarter, Military Academy, Academy of Military Aviation, Military Hospital, Military Police, Peace-keeping forces, War Veterans, and Military College.
