2018 February 09, FridayOn 29-31 January, 2018, the Projects Director of the BS of Armenia met 284 pupils from 71 public schools of 6 districts of the capital Yerevan (Kentron, Arabkir, Kanaker-Zeytoun, Avan, Nork-Marash, Nor Nork). They were accompanied by their teachers of “The Armenian Church History.”
The seminar aimed at introducing the format, the purpose and conditions of the “Bible Quiz” to the participants of the first level in February 2018, within the competition of Bible knowledge. Each participant pupil received a “Bible Treasury” (I level) to prepare for the Bible Quiz.
The discussions went on after the meeting. Armine, Anahit and Mary, 8th grade pupils, said: “We came just to get a Bible Treasury and go home, as we were tired and hungry after the lessons. But we forgot about everything. We started to think, how much we know about the Bible, something we have not considered before, and how much there is to learn. This meeting discovered the importance of the Bible to us, that it is the book of life. We saw our life reflected there like in the mirror. It contains so much truth and reality on which we had not reflected before.”
